Issue:
The FAX process cannot proceed because of a firmware error in the FAX machine.
Solution:
- Checking the FAX PWB
- The FAX PWB is malfunctioning.
- Turn off both the power switch and the main power switch.
- Wait for 5 seconds, then reinstall the FAX PWB.
- Turn the main power switch and the power switch back on.
- Refer to the FAX Installation Guide.
- Firmware Upgrade
- The firmware is defective.
- Reinstall the FAX firmware.
- Consult the Firmware Upgrade guide.
- Replacing the FAX PWB
- The FAX PWB is defective.
- Replace the FAX PWB.
- Follow the instructions in the FAX Installation Guide.
