This unit is extremely capable for printing, featuring full-color printing at speeds of up to 60 ppm and resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. It also gets started quickly with a first print out time of just 5.7 seconds and it features automatic duplexing for quickly creating two-sided documents.

There are multiple options for handling media, including a 100-sheet multipurpose tray able to work with documents from 3 x 5″ up to 8.5 x 14″ and a 550-sheet tray for standard sizes up to 8.5 x 14″. Operation is intuitive thanks to the use of a 4.3″ CGD (Color Graphics Display) touchscreen on the front panel, and users can benefit from direct printing by using the easy-access USB port. Also, users will benefit from enhanced durability with a monthly duty cycle rated at 120,000 pages. Additionally, the printer features USB 2.0 for standard connections and an Ethernet port for networking, including mobile printing support.
